Alô Zaverucha!
Li agora a pouco o JC onde, que bom, escreves acerca do trabalho desenvolvido há sete anos na penitenciária de Caruaru.
Gostaria então de chamá-lo à atenção para o Programa Reconstruindo a Cidadania, instituído pelo Tenente Coronel PM - Alcides Romão de Sousa Filho, que está à frente do Centro de Reeducação da PMPE, o presídio militar de Pernambuco.
Em um ano e três meses foram mais de trinta eventos já realizados, enfatizando o trabalho, a saúde física e mental, a assistência social e religiosa, o entretenimento, a capacitação.
Propiciaram além de alternativa ao ócio, condições objetivas à população carcerária para que travasse contato, reconhecesse e demonstrasse estar ajustada às convenções sociais e às normas de nossa sociedade.
As comemorações das datas festivas, os cursos, os workshops e as palestras foram fruto do trabalho dos próprios reclusos e de muitos integrantes da sociedade civil que, abnegadamente, acreditaram no poder transformador do voluntariado.

Hello Zaverucha!
