Reclusos militares inscritos da divisão de laborterapia do CREED concluiram a construção da fundação do Bloco Assistencial. Executado a partir de verba ordinária mensal, o pavimento térreo da obra tem previsão de ser concluído em março de 2010.

Prisoners stage conclude Assistance Block

O Tenente Coronel PM Alcides, visitou as terras do antigo Engenho Galiléia, palco da primeira reforma agrária feita em Pernambuco. Ciceroneado pelo Zito da Geliléia, conheceu pormenores das lutas sociais da Zona da Mata, notadamente da Liga Camponesa de Vitória de Santo Antão.
Visando contribuir com a preservação da história contemporânea de nosso Estado, o diretor do CREED, se comprometeu em, utilizando a mão de obra reclusa, realizar a digitalização de parte do acervo da biblioteca que tem registros escritos e fotográficos daquele movimento social que tem origem na década de 1950.

CREED preserves the history of the Ligas Camponesas

TenCel PM Alcides, visited the lands of the former Engenho Galiléia, the scene of the first reform made in Pernambuco. Maior oferta de trabalho para os reclusos - Expanding employment for prisoners

Em 23 de abril o Chefe do Estado Maior da PMPE, Coronel PM Daniel, visitou o CREED. Entusiasmado com os resultados do Programa Reconstruindo a Cidadania, recebeu as sugestões encaminhadas pelo Tenente Coronel PM Alcides que visam aumentar vagas de laborterapia. A idéia é oferecer as instalações dos Centros de Intendência, Material Bélico e de Engenharia e Construçõesa à empresas que absorveriam a mão de obra reclusa do CREED.

Expanding employment for prisoners

Diretor do CREED cria a biblioteca Alexandria - Director of CREED creates the Alexandria Library

O Tenente-Coronel PM Alcides Romão de Sousa Filho, diretor do Centro de Reeducação da Polícia Militar de Pernambuco, criou a Biblioteca Alexandria e solicitou a doação de publicações a várias editoras e instituições.Ela funcionará na área prisional em local a ser reformado e os serviços serão prestados pelos próprios reclusos inscritos na laborterapia.

Director of CREED creates the Alexandria Library
